Customized service dog program for your specific needs. This allows the animals bond and training to truly be custom tailored to not only your needs but to your unique body chemistry and home/living/mobility situation.

Legally, by ADA standards, it is required for service dogs to have 2 years consistent training.

This program will only teach you how to do it properly and start your long training journey.

Service Dog Train the Trainer Training

17-27 WEEK** Program- $3,400+

This is YOU training YOUR service dog!!!

Owner trained Service dogs are legally permitted, and, if you ask me, when done correctly is one of the best options.

While not ideal for everyone, Getting professional assistance and guidance is completely legal and is highly encouraged for owner trained dogs, for legal and liability purposes.

We will teach you not only how to train your service dog properly, but also what kind of responsibilities you have legally and how to prepare for and combat public access or discrimination challenges with your service dog.

Most importantly, we will teach you how to work with your service dog to regain some normalcy and independence in your life.

Step 1: Obedience Training

Participation in our 12 WEEK OBEDIENCE PROGRAM with modifications according to the structure of the service dog training required to meet your needs.

Full Obedience example:

Leash Manners
Greeting Strangers Appropriately

Addressing specific nuisance behaviors

Come
Sit
Stay
Down

Wait
Beginner Heel
Place
Working under Distractions

Loose Leash Walking

Step 2: Task Specific Training

2-6 WEEKS (depending on the training program you have chosen)

Now that obedience is completed and the foundation has been laid, next is task specific training to mitigate your disability.

Examples include :

-Comforting maneuvers for PTSD/Anxiety and other invisible disabilities.

-Training for light medium or heavy mobility work -guide dogs, brace support, etc.

-Training item specific recall for medications, emergency supplies or to locate lost items.

Step 3: Public Access Training

2 – 4 WEEKS (depending on the training program you have chosen)

Once Obedience and the ground work for Task Specific Training has been completed, we move in to preparation for large, very busy public spaces, hospitals, events, and more.

This is a process of refining focus on the handler with so much localized excitement in the immediate environment.

Real life training to prepare for real life scenarios.

Step 4: Preparation for Final Test

This is a proofing of all of the first three primary stages of service dog training. This is where we refine and really proof the most important behaviors for your journey together as a service dog TEAM.

ITS TEAMWORK that will make the journey to the end of the finish line.

Step 5: Take the Naked K9 Service Dog Test!

The service dog test in the last stage of the service dog program.

The final service dog test is a real life setting with specific triggers and situations designed to determine if you, as a TEAM, are prepared for full time continued high performance participation in the real world without any assistance or help.

This will likely simulate a Public Access Test from an outside provider, and at the very least, you will know exactly what you need to brush up on before moving onto external certifications.

Program Certificates of Completion

There are 2 different certificates your SERVICE DOG TEAM can obtain.

1. Certificate of Completion

This certificate will go to all TEAMS who successfully complete the 17 or 27 session program but did not sufficiently pass the final test.

2. Certificate of Achievement

This certificate will go to all TEAMS who successfully complete the 17 session program and sufficiently pass the final test.

3. Certificate of Excellence

The Certificate of Excellence is awarded to dogs who pass their entire 27 session custom tailored Service Dog Training Program AND THE FINAL TEST!

This award is designed to specifically identify the TEAMS that are the most prepared for legitimate legal definition of what it takes to be a service dog.

This award is designed to really point out those K9 and Handler teams who go above and beyond.

~These teams are the service dog worlds SHINING STARS!~

These dogs should be fully prepared to take a PAT examination from an outside evaluator and pass in the upper percentile.

AFTER YOUR TRAINING PROGRAM, it is recommended to seek out a PAT test and obtain that certificate.

As you will see, your TEAMS professionalism and dedication to the tasks at hand are what will set you apart from all of the dogs you see at the supermarkets in the shopping carts or barking at strangers.

**Not all disabilities are the same, this is a general average. You may have more classes required for your dog to learn everything it needs to appropriately mitigate your disability.

*Equipment costs may vary and will be an additional charge. Prices are not exact and are only a rough estimate for you to gauge what the program cost might be for the training service you need. Discounts may apply
